| Rhonda Hotop has taught Suzuki and traditional violin to people age 3 to mature adult. She plays with the Swindon Symphony and North Wiltshire Orchestras, and previously played in orchestras in the United States. Ms. Hotop has a B.A. in Music from Elmhurst College in Illinois and has studied violin with Gabriel Pegis, Carla Hager, and Nancy Jackson as well as piano with Timothy Woolsey. Suzuki violin pedagogy tutors include Nancy Jackson, Ed Kreitman, Yuko Honda, Ellie Albers, Alice Joy Lewis, Craig Timmerman, Ronda Cole, Carrie Reuning, Linda Fiore, and Nancy Lokken. She is a member of the British Suzuki Institute and the Suzuki Association of the Americas. Ms. Hotop is a Brain GymÒ instructor certified through the Educational Kinesiology Foundation. Private and group Brain Gym consultations are available. Her hobbies include fiddling, folk dancing, sewing, knitting, appreciation of nature, canoeing, reading, gardening, and hiking.
